Education Center

Other educational and entrepreneurial programs will be produced at the Crawford Grill Jazz Club in collaboration with organizations such as the nonprofit America's Arts & Music Crossroads Center and DreamMakers Ventures. These programs will include career workshops and internships for at-risk-youth. Other activities will include live performance events, visitor tours, educational series and summer camps.

 

Crawford Grill Jazz Club & Hill District Legacy Center

This Center will collaborate with organizations, entertainment technology professionals, and universities to develop and operate an interactive technology center housed within the Crawford Grill Jazz Club. The rich stories of the culture and history of the Hill District, the legacy of the Crawford Grill Jazz Club,  the musicians and celebrities who frequented the Hill District, and the Crawford Grill, and the Hill District's contributions to culture and art will be presented and preserved.

 

Jazz Shrine Store

A store will be operated in collaboration with the Crawford Grill Jazz Club to market and sell such items as branded clothing, accessories, food products unique to the venue's legacy, sound and video recordings of performances and educational events produced and conducted within the venue. An on-line store will also be operated to provide these products to the national and international markets.

 

Music Distribution and Marketing

Audio and video recording of live performances and educational workshops conducted within the Crawford Grill Jazz Club will be marketed through social media, live webcasting, and Internet radio. The venue will also provide artist licensing services for musical recordings, educational videos, record labels, video games and film.
